A freshly washed Friday!

A freshly washed Friday for us today. What a great storm yesterday! It had it all. Wind, driving rain, rolling thunder, multiple lightning strikes! Only one thing missing from that 20 minute maelstrom last night was a power cut!

How many of you filled the water jugs, reached for a torch and unplugged electrical appliances when that wind started up? Good on you if you did!

Busy busy Friday for us here in our freshly washed peice of Paradise today.

School Gardening Project 8am to 8.45am. Students and parents welcome to come and play in the gardens. Probably wont do any watering today though!

Pop your school Banking in your school bags this morning.

Theres some new Yoga down in the Valley with Danielle at Solitude Retreat, 3376 Nerang-Murwillumbah Rd, Numinbah Valley just past the Parks entrance to Natural Bridge at 9.30am this morning if you feel like a drive!

The Ladies Lunch  is at 11.30am at Greenwood Farm today. $15. Set menu. Byo bubbles. Call Angi to see if she can fit just one more in if you decide to come at the last minute!

The amazing Springbrook AA group meet at the hall at 4.30pm this afternoon to get support around issues with alcohol. Just pop in and see what they offer if you think you might need them.

Got plans for the weekend?? Tree planting at the settlement at 8.30am. Tennis at the courts in the morning. Mens Shed from 9am. Valley Stomp Blues Festival all day at Numinbah Hall. Garden club 2pm at the Mens Shed. Cuban Dance at the hall 5.30pm.

If you have kids, dont forget it a long weekend for them as it's a pupil free day at school on Monday!

So much choice. So much to do. So lucky to have it all on offer! Get out there and try something new today and tomorrow. It's the perfect day for it!

See you there!
