If you think Wednesday is going to be warm, just wait till the weekend! BoM is predicting some pretty warm spring weather for today and only getting hotter over this long weekend. Looks like summer is a couple of months early this year! We might need more than one pair of shorts to get through Summer this time around.
Our Craft Group has moved to the Lost Fawn Cafe. Still a 10am start. No charge to come along, just buy your own coffee and something to eat if youd like too. Bring your crafts and enjoy some crafting time with a group of like minded ladies. A great way to spend a morning; crafting, coffee in and chatting!
Don't forget to take the SES tags that the Police put off your letter boxes and rural numbers. Would be very confusing if they had to door knock again!
Save your cash for containers bottles. Springbrook State Schools P&C will be doing an old fashioned bottle drive as their October Fundraiser. More details to come, just save the bottles!
Great day for gardening now that the soil is damp and theres some sun on the way. Check your tank filters too while you are in the back yard. It would be a shame if they were filled with dead leaves that we all know are the most water repellant substance known to mankind.
Happy Birthday to a couple of gentlemen on the mountain today. A special red head and the other a bit of rev head. Say Happy Birthday if you know who they are!
Be prepared for a couple of hot days in the next week or so. Might be a good time to wash those Winter woolies and bed blankets, while there's water in the tanks and sun in the sky!
