Springbrook readers are lucky to live in a community where books are highly valued and as a community, we are building libraries and Book Nooks (Street Libraries) for people to access books through every day!
Our Main Community library is housed at the Community Hall on Carricks Road and is open once a month by a volunteer. Keep an aye on the Springbrook Community Association's social media (Instagram and Facebook) to find out what days and times it is open each month.
There is a Little Library (above) right outside the hall that's perfect for a quick pick up or drop off for books to circulate around the community. Feel free to use it anytime and its always worth checking out if you are going to the tip!
The City of Gold Coast Mobile Library comes once a fortnight to the school in Numninbah Valley. Its a great resource for book lovers to take advantage of and you can order books to pick up from the Libraries online catalogue. Its free to join and has the best librarians and something for everyone in it!
The Purling Brook Book Nook is located on Kuralboo st (just around the corner from the Purling Brook falls entrance) and is accessible dawn till dusk 7 days a week for those who need a book anytime.
