A Monday fit for a Monarch!

A Monday fit for a Monarch! Glorious blue skies. Tall majestic trees. Stately mountains. A perfect day on a perfect mountain to celebrate the Queen's Birthday! Happy Birthday Mrs Windsor! Thanks for the public holiday, its muchly appreciated!

Today we have exactly one half hour of extra daylight since the equinox, use it wisely. And that whole pesky day light savings thing has started down in Mexico across the border. No big deal here in Paradise except that if your phone picks up a NSW tower, the time on your phone changes, your phone alarms and alerts do funny things and life on the more Southern part of our hill top heaven can get a bit confusing.
Daylight savings Mexican phone tower time is another fun part of living at Goomalarah and on Repeater Station Rd in the Summertime!

Yoga will be at the Hall, 6pm tonight or 5pm for those on Mexican time. At any rate its on, be there!

Seen any parking, pedestrian or other problem on the mountain? Take a few photos and let council know on division9@goldcoast.qld.gov.au

🧐 Check out a new facebook page especially for information during disasters such as cyclones or fires. The Springbrook Local Disaster Management Committee has set a page up to relay important information quickly to the community. Find the page and like or follow it so when the need arises, you are ready and know where to find the info. The SMCA will share all disaster posts from this page to their Instagram and Facebook accounts as well during these times too. Springbrook ldmc - follow them on Facebook.

Have a regal sort of a day. Pop on your tiara and drink tea in the garden this morning. It's the perfect day for it. Check out what's happening up here this week in Paradise and go forth and enjoy the last public holiday before Christmas! You deserve it.

Happy Birthday Liz, from us all here in Springbrook!

See you there!
💚Springbrook
