Such a social Saturday for us here today! A community dance is a great way to catch up with everyone and have a bit of fun and that's what's happening tonight!
BoM is saying a glorious day with a chance of a rainless thunderstorm this evening. Bring your umbrella if your heading for the dance tonight!
The Mens Shed open at 9am this morning but it seems like a few of the blokes are off to buy a new saw for the shed this morning. Don't know if you've ever been in that shed but theres definatly saws there already. Turn up anyway, water the garden and socialise with a cuppa and wait and see what the boys come back with.
If you're in the mood for a bit of action this morning, the Springbrook Tennis Club often meet for a hit at the courts behind the hall. Just turn up with your bat and ball and see who else shows up for the challenge!
Rock n Roll Community Dance Night at the Hall tonight. Burgers available from 6pm as the doors open. Valley Vagrants start at 7pm. Bring the family. Tickets $10. Primary school kids free. High school kids $5. Do a deal for a really big family at the door. Greenwood Farm have Burgers starting at $5 for dinner and theres a cash bar with beer, wine, cider and soft drinks inside. Its gonna be a great night!
And if you wake up after the dance in time, tomorrow is the 4th Sunday of the month and theres an Anglican Church service, 10.30am at the Observatory.
Be social today. It's the perfect day for it. You can socialise with a sporting group, a bunch of blokes or the whole darn community today. The chance is there. Take it!
