The Springbrook Community Notices

Many thanks to the volunteers, Police, SES, Ambulance, Rangers and community members that helped out in today's Police Incident. Thank you for handling it professionally and keeping us all safe. It's appreciated.

Huge night at the hall last night with the P&C raising lots of money towards that playground for the senior kids. Not much more to go. Please keep those donations coming in. Talk to Johnny C or Anastasia to make a donation!

The Springbrook Community library will be open on Wednesday for sorting, browsing and all things books! Love to have some help with the sorting and culling of books. Pop in if you can. Who knows what treasures you'll unearth!

The first Tuesday of the month is the day to join up with the SES. They meet in the SES shed every Tuesday for training at 7pm. Mostly hands on but with all the normal paperwork stuff in the first few weeks, the training nights involve dummy, ropes, stretchers and cups of tea. Come along and check them out this Tuesday!

ANZAC Day is not far away. Sunday, April 25th. We are planning on two services, a dawn service and a 10am service with a march preceding. Remember ANZAC Day by attending one of the ceremonies at the Cenotaph if you can. More info to come.

Our local emergency crews have had a lot of call outs recently so give them a heartfelt, corona safe, elbow bump next time you see one. There's been quite a few accidents on the roads (please, slow down) and they get to attend most of them. Thanks for getting out of bed, having your dinners interrupted and leaving your family's special times to help us out. Its appreciated.

The Springbrook Chamber of Commerce have an AGM meeting on Tuesday 30th March, 7.30pm at the hall. All local business owners welcome. For more info contact them on info@explorespringbrook.com

Feel free to email your community notices to springbrookhall@gmail.com and we will run them on this page for everyone to see!

 Stay safe. Enjoy the sunshine.
