ANZAC Day commemoration activities today include a dawn service at 5am at the Cenotaph, followed by the P&C's gunfire breakfast at the hall. $5 eftpos available.

The Marchers will meet outside the Cafe on Forestry Rd at 9.45am, ready to leave at 10am. Mid morning service at the Cenotaph starting at approx 10.20am.

Greenwood Farm & Co burger stand outside the hall after the service. RAAF flyover at 1200hrs.

Two Up and Bbq at Petes Shop on Forestry Rd from 1pm. Proceeds to the Springbrook ANZAC Day Committee.

Monday is a Public Holiday, not that you've forgotten of course - AND so is the following Monday, for Labour Day.

The Springbrook Community Library will be open on Wednesday at the hall from 11am to 2.30pm. Please come and check out our freshly sorted library. Lots of novels and recent releases!

The Community Cuppa will be at the Fudge Shop on Friday at the much earlier time of 9am. Make sure you note that in your diary. See you there!

Looks like TMR are doing more work on the Front Road towards Neranwood from April 27th to the end of June. Various websites say stop/go and potential delays. Might pay to keep using the back road for a bit longer...

Ever thought of joining the SES? They are looking for new recruits and this week is the week to pop in and see what its all about and join up if you like it. It's a great crowd of people and some really interesting and varied work and training!

We are organising another Trash & Treasure trail for May 22nd and 23rd! There will be sausage sizzles up here and in Numinbah as well as carboot sales and a kids clothing bonanza. Start your decluttering and plan your garage sale for one or both of these dates. Join together with a friend and start saving your coins to nab all those bargains!

Stay safe. Stay in the loop.
