This Monday is quite melodious!
This Monday is quite melodious so far. The sun is shining and the birds are in full song. Not sure if this will last all day as BoM is predicting a 70% chance of 6-10mm of rain today. Definitely a day to go walking with your umbrella Elizabeth!
We are on the second week of our school holidays here in Queensland and NSW schools started theirs today.
*So no library and no playgroup today. Remember next Monday is Queens Birthday so no school or playgroup next Monday either.
*But Yoga is definitely at the Hall, 6pm tonight for those looking to stretch and relax. Never been before? Just turn up and Helen will show you what to do.
*Seen any graffiti, pot holes or council things that need fixing? Download the City of Gold Coast app to your smart phone and report things you'd like to see fixed. Easy as!
*Not getting the weekly mail out about what's happening in Springbrook? They are sent out to financial members of the SMCA. Not sure if you are a member or not? Come to the next meeting on Wednesday October 9th, 7.15pm at the hall and check you are on the list. Its $5 a year to join!
*Do you have a community notice that you'd like to share with Springbrook? Feel free to contact us through this page or email it to secretary@smca.org.au and it will appear in the Sunday edition of This Week in Springbrook.
Looks like a great week for gardening with some rain on the way. Sitting in a cafe with a coffee and a book is a great way to spend a rainy afternoon too!
Whether you spend this melodious Monday inside or in the garden, enjoy the sounds of the birds enjoying the rain when it arrives!
May the rain fill your tanks, fall on your gardens, and the forest and its creatures enjoy a long cool drink today.
Let it rain.
See you there!
💚Springbrook
