The Springbrook Community Notices



The Springbrook Mountain Markets are on TODAY! Pop down to the Fudge Shop and enjoy the wares on offer and a coffee as well as a catch up!




Are you keen on getting a pedestrian bridge over Purlingbrook? Then look out for the pedestrian counting cameras near Llyods Rd and the Purling Brook Causeway and help get the numbers up! Looks like council are checking that we use it before they commit to building a footbridge.




The front road visit on Tuesday is currently full. If you are stll keen, pop your name down on the wait list by emailing secretary@smca.org.au If you can't make it. Please let us know so we can find someone to replace you in time!




Kung Fu classes starting Thursdays in mid May at the hall. Kids and Adult classes available. More info to come. Watch this space!




Congratulations to Mrs Price for her role as acting Principal here at Springbrook for the next six months as Miss Hoskins takes on a role at St Bernard's in Tamborine. Welcome to new senior teacher Mr Dunlop too, who did his training with us. Good to have you back!

Weedbusters meet the third Sunday of the month at the Settlement 9am to 11am to bust weeds and learn about the Springbrook environment!

Want to visit the front road on May 2nd and see the progress being made? Express your interest with an email to secretary@smca.org.au who will pass on your details to the contractor who will confirm direct with you!
