What a Splendid Saturday!

What a splendid Saturday the Gods have conspired to give us today. Get off your phone and get outside, it's just perfect out there.
The forecast is for a couple of days of glorious-ness and then maybe a bit of cloud early next week to mix things up a bit.

A special Good Morning to a lovely bloke called Nathan who doesnt do any social media but has his wife read out this post every morning! 👋

We have so many activities to do up here in Paradise that you'll be spoilt for choice in things to do today!

QPWS is doing a bit of tree planting morning starting at 8.30am at the Settlement. They'd love the locals to join in and become part of the team to rehabilitate the stream area there. Just turn up in your tree planting attire!

There's been trouble with the plans bought on ebay for the time machine. Apparently page 196 is missing. If you happen to have a copy of "Tardis Building for Beginners" at home with page 196 in it, please pop onto the Men's Shed  at 9am for a cuppa. They'd love to meet you!

The Springbrook Tennis Club often meet for a hit at the courts behind the hall. Pop down today and see who's there!

Springbrook Garden Club have their quarterly meeting today at 2pm at the Mens Shed. Bring a plate, plants, seeds and garden produce to share with other members. Seeds from the seed bank will be available to take home and "have a grow" with.

The Valley Blues Stomp is on at the Numinbah Valley hall all day today. Gates open 11am. $40. See the internet for more detail.

And after all that, we have Christina and her Cuban dance night tonight 6pm at the hall. Bring both of your left feet, the kids and come and shake your booty to some uplifting music. You'll leave with a smile on your face!!

It's a splendid Saturday! A great day to get out there and to have fun. Lots of interesting things to do today with or without the kids!

Be spectacular. Be superb. Be special. It's certainly a splendid Saturday for living in our Hill Top Heaven!

See you there!
