Its Friday here in Paradise!

Its Friday day here in Paradise again and looks like the fairies have been renovating the fairy village at the fudge shop recently!
Another glorious Autumn day brings us a fanstastic AA meeting at the hall, 4.30pm. They welcome all those who want to attend. Just turn up.

Don't forget to get your raffle tickets today from the school for their incredible Winter Raffle and to sign up for their Bunning Sauages sizzle online via the link on the schools facebook account. (Or just call Sue at the school!) They need a couple of people to help still.

The Anglican Church service is at 10.30am at the Observatory on this Sunday for those wishing to attend.

Numinbahs Sunday markets look like they are going to be amazing. So many great stalls! Check out Numinbah Halls social media on Saturday to see a list of all the stalls that will be there. 8am to 1pm. It will make a nice trip out on  Sunday morning for breaky and a browse!

Thursday! And what a perfect day!

Thursday! And what a perfect day to live in Springbrook. The burn offs on the coast are starting to make great sunset photos aren't they?
Today there is Yoga to stretch out with on this chilly morning. Helens class starts at 9am at her studio at 1947 Springbrook Road. Gold coin donation and some sox are all you'll need!
10am and the men of the mountain will gather to conduct their mysterious rituals at the appropriately named, Mens Shed. Rumours abound as to what they do there,  but the only way to know for sure is to go and see for yourself.

Slow down in front of the school. Check out the new sign. Looks like the are putting a speed trap that spot... The P&C have a sausage sizzle at Bunnings on Sunday so thats the day to visit Bunning this week!  Grab a ticket for the schools Winter raffle and win all those Winter goodies. Ticket available at the school during school hours. Drop in and grab one.

Numinbah Valley Markets are on this Sunday! Go down for breaky and a browse. You never know what you will find down there. 8am start. Wrap up warm and grab a coffee from the fudge shop on your way down.

See you there! 💚 Springbrook.

How chilly is this Wednesday morning?

How chilly is this glorious Wednesday morning? About 5 degrees?
Warm up this morning with the Springbrook Craft group, 10am at the hall. Bring your own craft, a plate to share for morning tea and $3 for hall hire. Wrap up warm. Our hall is known for its winter chillyness!
The Springbrook Comnunity Library is open this afternoon from 2.30pm to 4.30pm at the hall and we have a new book case. We should be able to put the last of the boxed books on shelves today! Pop in. No membership. No fees. No library cards. Just hassle free books!
It seems the weekend parking issues may be coming to a head. If you've got a photo or have been meaning to email or call, do it today. Call council 5582 8211 on  or email them on mail@goldcoast.gov.qld.au and let them know your thoughts on whats happening!
It turns out we have an Anglican Church service up here on the first Sunday of the month at the observatory, so that's this Sunday coming. As soon as more detail becomes available, it will be posted here.

Don't forget to do your bowel scan, buy Winter raffle tickets from the school and get ready for the Numinbah Valley markets this weekend!

Looks like another Terrific Tuesday...

Looks like another terrific Tuesday has dawned here on the mountain!
Such glorious mornings at the moment aren't they! Did you know the SMCA has an Instagram account as well as a face book feed?

Today, at 10.30am, we have the Community Cuppa at the Springbrook Café on Forestry Road. A great chance to support a local business, have bit of Gail's famous hedgehog slice and catch up with people. If you haven't been before, just turn up. Everyone is welcome!

Helen's yoga classes a...re back to normal now. So today, 9am to 10.15am at her studio at 1947 Springbrook Road, and you'll have time to get to the cuppa afterwards!

The Men's Shed is open from 10am on Tuesdays for all manner of exciting activities at their Shed opposite the hall. If you're a man, just turn up and you'll be automatically welcomed!

Numinbah Hall is still taking stall bookings for their markets this Sunday. Looking at their Instagram and facebook feeds, its going to be great. Lots of really cool stalls. The community is doing a brecky bbq so breakfast in Numinbah is a good plan for Sunday!

See you there!
