Never fear, Friday is here!

Never fear, Friday is here! Fridays forecast is a fire fighters fantasy! 90% of 5 to 15mm today and a 95% chance of 10 to 25mm tomorrow! Clear those gutters. Check those inlet sieves. We're gonna get some water in our tanks this weekend.  Mother Nature willing of course!

This is great news for the School Gardening Project. Watering will be done automatically this afternoon with a bit of luck. Students and parents are welcome in the school garden 8am to 8.45am to plant and weed and generally have a bit of fun this morning.

Dont forget its School Banking today too.

Theres Yoga with Danielle at Solitude Retreat, 3376 Nerang-Murwillumbah Rd Numinbah Valley just past the Parks entrance to Natural Bridge, 9.30am this morning if you havent made it to a class up here this week...

Our fabulous and apparently good looking AA group meet at the hall 4.30pm this afternoon. If you need support around drinking, pop in and have a no obligation chat today. It's a great group of people to get involved with.

The Strings under a Full Moon concert doors open, 7pm tonight at the hall. NB Venue change because of the predicted rain. Tickets still available as this venue can seat more people. A delightful way to spend a pleasant evening.

The current forecast is a good chance to see how you'll cope when the rains (hopefully) start again for the season. Check your roof is clean or get a first flush diverter installed so you're not drinking too much soot and ash from the fires. Clear out your gutters from all the leaves the dehydrated eucalyptus are throwing down. And check that your inlet sieves arent blocked with fine silt and you don't end up with all that lovely water flowing down the outside of the tank.

Then sit back in the great Australian fashion and listen to the rain falling on your tin roof with a cuppa and some Netflix!

Ahhhhhh... just the way to spend some quality time with the family. A doona, some popcorn and a movie with rain on the roof. Our kind of heaven after the rough start to the fire season!

See you there!
