The Springbrook JAM JAR LIBRARY!
Sounds curious...But what on earth is that?
The idea is that people who have good clean jars with lids that they don't need, drop them off to our brand new jam jar library and those jammy and crafty people who need them, drop in and pick them up!
No membership, no fees, no limits to the amount of jars you give or take, just useful jars cycling through our community and staying out of landfill!
The jam jar library is always happy to accept donations of jars, so if you are having a clean out and need somewhere to put all those jars, bring them to Springbrook's first Jam Jar Library!
Of course, if you are in need of a jar or ten for a preserving session, a craft project, to store pantry items, for vases or whatever - feel free to come and get as many as you need at any time!
Located against the green fence to the left of the Purling Brook Book Nook on Kuralboo Street, its not obvious but well worth supporting!
