Fast forward a few years and Sophie now lives on a large property with her husband and two kids and runs a sustainable fashion outlet in her front yard - as you do, when you live in Springbrook!
Along with the organically grown seasonal veges, jams, chutneys, teas and ointments at her lovely roadside stall, Sophie now has clothes, hats, bags, shoes and accessories for sale, swap and barter from her dedicated boutique.
Other locals sell their handmade beanies, scarves and baskets at the boutique making it a bit of a community collective and giving you even more things to buy!
Located opposite the turnoff to Carricks Road, Sophies sustainable vintage shopis located in a permaculture designed building that houses Sophies collection of upcycled, recyled, second hand, new, handmade and vintage clothing.
Open in the weekends for browsing or by appointment at a time that suits, feel free to come and browse the clothes, hats, bags, baskets, shoes, jewelry, accessories and so much more!
A big part of art of Sophies philosophy is sustainability and as such, her clothes are available for barter, swap, rent and even, for sale with cash! Its a fabulous concept and the sort of thing that is easily achievable in a small village like Springbrook!
