Whew, a Sedentary Sunday!

Whew, a sedentary Sunday is in order after all the hustle and bustle of Saturday! Wasn't it a great day with all sorts of interesting activities on offer? Today is positively sedate by comparison!

BoM has starting forecasting rain for next week, but then they do that periodically just to keep in practice. But on the off chance there is rain next weekend, we want it all in out tanks. So check your inlet seives and make sure they are free of dust and ash. Check your gutters are clean and your roof is still there!

It's not quite a storm season type weather event, but let's use it as a, dare we say, dry run?

If you still have enough energy to tap your toes or even strum a guitar,  the Sunday Afternoon People are meeting this afternoon to make music and have fun, Call Cath on 0423 414 073 to get the details. Great afternoon of musical jamming. All instruments and musical genres welcome!

Next week is full of end of the year events before we get into the full summer tourist season when school breaks up on Friday. Make sure you take the opportunity to get to one of these last events, especially if you are new up here before the silly season starts and we all stay home for seven weeks!

Its summer here in Paradise and anything could happen. Get yourself onto the disaster Committees text list. Get to know your neighbours. Get ready for some hot busy unpredictable months ahead.

Enjoy our last sedate(ish) Sunday of the year. Listen to the birds. Enjoy the litter free views of the Bush. Drive so you can see the wildlife.  Be like a local!

Put your feet up, grab a beverage and enjoy your copy of Springbrook Voices if it's made it to your letterbox over the weekend! Congratulations on 100 issues together Pam and Caryl. You've done an incredible job over the last 24 years and this issue is a cracker!

See you there!
💚Springbrook
