A real Summer Sunday!
A real summer Sunday! Hope all our fire fighters had a great nights sleep last night!
Rain on a Sunday in December is such a normal thing. It was also normal for Sundays in September, October and November but at least we finally have a wet day after all these months! Reports of 21mm at Purlingbrook this morning. How did the upper and lower parts go? Nice to measure actual water in a rain gauge rather than dust and ash falls...
It's the First day of Summer and theres only 24 days until Christmas! Is your tree up? Are you excited? Have you seen light show on the house between Camp creek and Gwongarella Parade yet? Wow!
#nationdance today at 12pm. Where are we meeting Christina? Goomalarah? It will be great to gather to dance for rain, for unity and for the sheer pleasure of dancing in a wet rain forest! More details please Christina!
The Sunday Afternoon People meet to make music and have fun on Sunday Afternoon, Call Cath on 0423 414 073 to get the details. Start practicing your Christmas Carol repitore, we will be singing them on the 11th!
We have the much anticipated Numinbah Valley Twilight Christmas Markets this afternoon, rain or shine. 2pm to 7pm down at the hall in Numinbah Valley. Local goods, local vendors. Great place to spend a Sunday Summer afternoon.
BoM is saying a bit more rain today and then sunny days, again. Maybe a few clouds next weekend, maybe not. You know, standard dice rolling or dart throwing predictions for us here on Springbrook! Let's see what we get.
Enjoy the rain. Enjoy the markets. Enjoy the official beginning of Summer and the Silly Season!
Thank you Mother Nature for the rain! Lets get our rain dancing shoes on and dance today. Get your gum boots on and jump in puddles. Or maybe just wiggle your toes in the wet grass. It's raining.
Enjoy!
See you there!
💚Springbrook
