Wednesdays are quite worthwhile, dont you think?

Wednesday are quite worthwhile don't you think? Worth the while to stop and chat to the neighbours. Worth the while to chat to the cafe people. Worth the while to catch up with some one at the other end of the mountain. And Wednesdays, we think, are great days for doing that.

BoM is predicting "No Rain. Mostly Sunny" which isnt what we want to hear. We're kinda looking forward to a bit of summer rain to refresh our forests, waterfalls, streams and tanks. Ironically, this sunny weather means there will be more water trucks on our roads in coming weeks, delivering water to our homes.

There is a council meeting to vote on a water application today, 9am at Council Chambers in Evandale. The public is welcome to attend.

The Springbrook Craft Group meet 10am at The Lost Fawn Cafe at 10am today. lf you are new on the mountain, this is a great group to join to meet people and share crafting ideas and techniques. All crafts welcome. Just turn up. Lots of yummy Regan baking on offer!

One of our local tradies has had an incident involving a ladder and is (hopefully) having surgery on his leg today. Thinking of you mate! That's a hell of a way to get 6 weeks off over Christmas, but an extremely effective one! See you out and about on your crutches and moon boot soon!

Make this Wednesday worthwhile. Take the time to do the things that are worth the time to do and make them count. A great day for writing Christmas Cards at a cafe. A great day to drop a Christmas Hamper donation off to the school. A great day to check on the neighbours and make sure they are ok.

It's how we roll up here in Paradise. We do the stuff that's worthwhile, especially on a Wednesday!

See you there!
💚Springbrook
