Make this Friday a fruitful one!
Make this Friday a fruitful one! Finish a project, tick tasks of your to do list, eat an apple! BoM says the rain has gone and we are back to glorious sunny days and freezing cold nights, except for Saturday where theres a small chance of rain... fickle weather Friday might have been a better way of describing today!
There is a Mens Shed sausage sizzle on today at the Nerang Bunnings. Pop in and grab sausage if you're in the area! If you're in the Mens Shed and signed up, dont forget to turn up!!
The School Gardening Project is happening before school today, 8am to 8.45am. If you're a student or parent at the school, turn up and help out. Got some great plants already in.
AA meet at the hall 4.30pm this afternoon for those who need help with alcohol and its affects. This is a great group with a number of Gold Coasters coming up as well as locals. Pop in and say hi this afternoon.
Road Safety week is coming. For us here in Paradise that will mean an increased Police presence on the roads! August 24 and 25 are great days to slap on your hat and pretend you are driving a Volvo! Speed is the main focus for the coppers, it could be quite a lucrative weekend for them up here!
Seen the new Springbrook tourist maps put out by the Chamber of Commerce? They look great. Check them out at a Springbrook business near you soon.
Our next edition of Springbrook Voices is gearing up for production right now. If you have any article or ads that you want to submit, now is the moment to send them in! Email your contribution to voices.springbrook@gmail.com as soon as you can!
Have a fruitful Friday, get something done that needs doing today. Hug a friend, eat fruit, walk the dog, call a relative and check on them.
It's a fruitful Friday and you live in Springbrook, life doesnt get any better than that!
See you there!
💚Springbrook
