Thursday is being a bit theatrical...

Thursday is being a bit theatrical don't you think? Not sure if there going to be sunshine, rain, hail or wind today. It's a bit like living in Melbourne!

Sun rise is getting a minute or so earlier each day. Are the Whipbirds your morning alarm sound? Certainly harder to ignore than the clock alarm these days (and earlier)

We have a new activity run by the P&C for the students starting today! Before school yoga! 8.15am to 8.45am. Get there early and try some yoga. Will be great fun!

The Mens Shed opens at 9am with a cuppa n morning tea at 10am. The pipe to the garden is in now and with rain in the tanks from yesterdays 9mm they will be able to water their gardens. Looking forward to seeing what they harvest from these gardens soon!

Yoga with Helen, 9am at her studio, 1947 Springbrook Road after her school class this morning. Helen may run a few minutes late.

Perisai Diri Silat is on at the hall tonight at 6pm. Wrap up warm as the hall is a bit chilly still but Simon will have you warmed up in no time!

Road Safety week is coming. For us here in Paradise that will mean an increased Police presence on the roads! August 24 and 25 are great days to slap on your hat and pretend you are driving a Volvo! Speed is the main focus for the coppers, it could be quite a lucrative weekend for them up here!

Seen the new Springbrook tourist maps put out by the Chamber of Commerce? They look great. Check them out at a Springbrook business near you soon.

Our next edition of Springbrook Voices is gearing up for production right now. If you have any article or ads that you want to submit, now is the moment to send them in! Email your contribution to voices.springbrook@gmail.com as soon as you can.

Enjoy Mother Natures theatrics today. Open a window, listen to the whipbirds and wave at a neighbour, we live in Paradise after all!

See you there!
💚Springbrook
