Aren't you thrilled its Thursday?

Aren't you thrilled its Thursday and you live on the mountain?? Another simply glorious day in Paradise, definitely in our Winter drought now. Watch your water use so you dont have to buy it in a few months... 9am, Yoga with Helen in her studio, 1947 Springbrook Road for those who want to stretch out any Winter chills this morning. Gold Coin dontation and a mat if you have one is all you need to bring.

10am and the Shed of Men things is open for men to do shed things in. Since there's no such thing as a secret on Springbrook, we know all about your secret cups of tea and snoozes on the lazy boy recliner but we wont talk about it here. No eggs, no sausages this morning but they promise all sorts of cool men things to do, if you come on down!
6pm, Perasai Diri Silat is on at the hall. A great sport for the young and not so young. Pop into the hall between 6pm and 7pm and chat to Simon if youd like to know more.

Great SMCA meeting last night! Welcome to the mountain Ben and Holly, lovely to meet you both! Lots of interesting groups gave reports, Chamber members talked about letters to various Government Dept about our parking and road issues they've recived responses from and lots of laughing. (We aim for fun and infomative rather than formal meetings)
The next SMCA meeting will be on July 3rd so as to allow you all to watch Qld pound NSW in the next state of origin game from the comfort of your own home.
Dont forget Friday is our AA meeting is at the hall, theres also Cuban Dance tomorrow night, people with two left feet especially welcome, Ladies Lunch on Saturday, bring your kids if you need to and the Boyd meets Girl recital, tickets via the Gastronomic Societies facebook page, if theres any left! Looks like a sellout concert!
Enjoy your Thursday, get out and be part of this great little community we have here!
See you there! 💚 Springbrook
