Fathers Day Stall at the school on Thursday to give our kids a chance to "shop" for Dad. Donations for gifts to sell via the school office please!

Pupil free day on Friday for school, making it another long weekend for a lot of people. Watch out on the roads, it will he busy!

The Book Club is looking for people interested in joining to read books, talk about books and enjoy the company of people who love to read. Contact Lin on thomson.ljm@gmail.com to find out more!

Our Stage One footpath is finished and is looking good. It's been tested and found to work perfectly.  Sad good bye to the crew who had become part of the community but they will be back next year for stage two!

The Springbrook SES crew is looking for a few more members to round out their team. They meet Tuesday nights, at 7pm, with or without power, at the SES shed behind the hall. Just turn up and chat to the team!

Have you read Springbrook Voices yet? Lots of great local information,  phone numbers, groups, tradies and more. Make sure you read it cover to cover and keep a copy handy!

There's a few wheelie bins still advertising empty blocks and unlived in houses. Please ask the owners to bring them in, if you know them or contact Council on division9@goldcoastqld.gov.au and advise them that there is no house there please.

Don't forget the Gem Shop on Forestry Rd has lots of gifts that your Dad might like. Open in the weekends and well worth a visit!

Tuck shop will be on Thursday not Friday this week due to the pupil free day on Friday.

Next Ladies Lunch is on September 10th and the Garden Group meet on the 18th. Check out Springbrook Community Food Growers on Facebook for more detail.

Plenty of jars at the Springbrook Jar library on Kuralboo st. It's against the big green fence behind the book nook. Help yourself to jars of all sorts of sizes. Free. Have as many as you like!

Group PT sessions coming up on the mountsin. Check out Bek Elizabeth Personal Training on fb and PM her to get involved.
