The Springbrook Community Notices

Wheelie Bin info: Bins are being delivered across the mountain now and in coming days. Please bring them in off the street. Collection will start at the end of SEPTEMBER. If you do not require a bin service at this point, please call 5581 6799 and let them know. They will collect your bins and remove your property from the service list. You can keep the bins, repurpose them and continue to use the tip as usual if you prefer.

There is a planned poweroutage on Wednesday for the top of the mountain, Purling Brook Causeway and up/South. Energex are doing an upgrade of poles and lines. Watch out for the trucks and workers in the area.

Springbrook school has a Pie Drive as a fundraiser going at the moment. It has meat pies, family pies, doughnuts and all sorts of yummies for sale. Contact a school parent for the website and codes and support the P&C's latest and yummiest way to raise a few more $!

The Fathers Day stall is coming up in a few weeks at the school. If you have something to donate, please contact Karen or the school office.

If you have containers or bottles to donate for the P&C's fundrasing efforts simply text "containers" to 0402209916 and someone will contact you and arrange to pick them up!

Free Dance and movement session at the Hall Saturday August 21st, 10.30am to 11.30am. $15 entry.

A new Book Nook has opened at Goomalarah outside the Greenwood Farm & Co Farm stall. Called the Upper Springbrook Book Nook is a great destination for a walk and is open and waiting for your donation and collection!

Upgrades have started on the gardens and landscaping at the Skate Park. Should be finished and looking amazing by the end of the month!

If you have ideas for the upgrade of the playground at Centenary Park, please email division9@goldcoastqld.gov.au and share your ideas with our Councillor!

Lots of wildlife deaths on the road at the moment. Please slow down. Remember it's only 60kms up here on the hill...

Stay safe. Slow down.
