The Springbrook Community Notices

School holidays are in full swing up here in our patch of Paradise at the moment. Lots of visitors on unfamiliar roads to watch out for. Take it easy in the wet and keep the speed down...

Ladies Lunch coming up in the next fortnight. April 16th 12pm. Venue to be confirmed.

The Springbrook Craft group will continue during the holidays, 10am, each Wednesday at the Fudge Shop. Just drop in with your project and join in!

Springbrook Mens Shed welcomes local blokes of all ages to it regular Tuesday, Thursday and Saturday morning openings. Just pop in and say hi. Opens at 9am. Cuppa about 10.30am.

Next SMCA meeting is scheduled for Wednesday April 18th and we are hoping Cr Tozer will be attending. All residents welcome. Come along and find out how Springbrook ticks!

Local Botanist Lui Webber has published a book on rare plants in our corner of the world. Check out his Amazon listing and get yours today!

Are you hearing the helicopters over our waterfalls recently? There is concern that these flights don't have permits to fly over our World Heritage Area and could be breaking the law, disturbing our forest and destroying our local residents peace and serenity.  If you hear them, please log their time and duration on the SMCAs daily post so we can count them. Thanks!

Support our local business, large and small over the holidays, especially on slow wet days. Theyll appreciate the cash and the chat!

Make sure you are hooked into our local disaster management teams facebook page and residents texts. You'll want to be in the loop if the weather gets really bad...

As usual, slow down on the roads and let our emergency crews have Easter Breakfast with their family this morning before their first call out!

Stay safe. Slow down. Happy Easter.
💚 living in Springbrook
