Greenwood Farm Burger stall outside the hall on Wednesday October 14th from 5.30pm. What a great opportunity to have some mid week takeaways, right here on the hill. You dont need to be going to the concert to take advantage of it. Come along and enjoy a delicious takeaway burger!

Suicide has been a hot topic of conversation on the mountain recently and so it was great timing for the Understanding Suicide workshop to be held (Thank you Jake for making it happen) We now have lots of people who gained some insight and skills in the area so if you're feeling affected by suicide in any way, put out your feelers, theres lots of us happy to listen!

There will be at least two more Silent Retreat workshops held at the hall this year for those who enjoy extended meditation and yoga sessions. Check out the website and book direct. https://www.karaswift.com/one-day-silent-retreats

With Halloween on it's way and things as normal as they have been for sometime, let's get into decorating our letterboxes again. Halloween themed are gonna be a lot of fun, especially with our dark Forests (and dingoes of many colours...)๐Ÿ“ซ ๐Ÿ‘ป๐ŸงŸ‍♀️๐Ÿ•๐ŸŽƒ๐Ÿบ๐Ÿง›‍♀️๐Ÿถ๐Ÿงš‍♀️

Great time to email your local State Member if you have any suggestions for improvements up here in Springbrook. With an election coming up, Ros will be happy to hear about what you have to say about Springbrook and what we, as locals need. Contact her on mudgeeraba@parliament.qld.gov.au

Springbrook School is now collecting plastic bottle tops and toothbrushes to be recycled into new and exciting things. Collected them up (give them a bit of a rinse) and drop them off at the school gate on Friday mornings between 8.30am and 9am. It would be great if the cafes could set aside a bucket to collect them as well and help divert landfill back into a useful life!

The Springbrook Chamber of Commerce have a meeting on Tuesday 13th October 7.30pm at the hall. All local business owners welcome. For more info contact them on info@explorespringbrook.com

Springbrook P&C have started all their extra curricular activities again.
*Wednesday, gardening day 8.30am
*Thursday, Yoga 8.15pm
*Friday, Food scrap Friday Community Composting 8.30am.
*Friday, Bottle top and toothbrush recycling. Drop to the front gate 8.30 to 9am.

Tuck shop is operating at the school again this term. Talk to the team at Dancing Waters Cafe about getting lunch delivered on a Friday for $5 or $30 for the term.

Stay safe. Have fun. Be kind.
