Springbrook Community Notices

Springbrook Polling Booth is at the school,  2327 Springbrook Rd for voting in the State Elections on Saturday, October 31st. Voting from 9am to 6pm. Standard Covidsafe rules apply.

Springbrook School P&C Election Day Sausage Sizzle, at the school, 9am to 3pm. Doesnt matter if you've voted, want to vote, cant vote or dont care, the P&C would love to sell you a sausage, with onions (on top if you like) and a can of drink as their major fundraiser for 2020. Please support them, this is their only chance to fundraise to the public and they are trying to get new equipment for the playground before the next large intake of students occurs in 2022!

Who saw the under ground tanks go in to the new amenities block this week? Amazing stuff! Can wait to see what happens next. We'll check with Blake, the site foreman and see if we can get a date and time for the next round of things to watch out for!

Community library will be open Wednesday week, October 28th, 10am to 2pm. Natalie is happy to do a story time again about 10.30am. Come along and join in or just come and browse our eclectic selection of books!

Don't forget to decorate your letterbox for some community Halloween fun. It looks like a few people have already got theirs sorted and dont the look good!? Make sure its Merv friendly and  let us know where they are and we will make sure you all get to see them!

There will be trick or treating in the Purling Brook areas of Forestry and Lloyd's Rds this year. A flyer will come out with the orange streamer to put on your letterbox to indicate you would welcome a visit from the little horrors! More info closer to the date.

Election Day is Saturday, October 31st where we vote for our State representative.  The school is a polling booth and will be having an election day BBQ. Social distancing will take place. Sanitiser will be available. Bring cash and support the P&Cs first real fundraiser for 2020.

Remembrance Day is not far away. Wednesday, November 11th at 11am. Remember Armistice Day by attending a small ceremony at the Cenotaph if you can.
