Springbrook Community Notices

Monday, May 3rd, is the Labour Day public holiday. No school, again!

Springbrook Mens Shed will be having a Sausage Sizzle at their front entrance on Monday May 3rd. Details still to come.

Springbrook Food Grower's and Gardening groups will be meeting at Kays place, Sunday May 9th from 2pm to 4pm. Contact Gina or Dee for the address. Check out their Facebook page for other information too.

The P&C will be holding their AGM on Thursday, May 6th at 3.15pm in the Music Room. Would be good if lots of Parents came to this meeting to get the elections done this time!

Springbrook Voices is looking for people to help on their committee. Only 4 or 5 meetings a year. Get hold of Pam, Kara or Caryl if you're interested. Next meeting, Thursday at 10am at Pam's place.

Speaking of such, the deadline for contributions to the next edition of Springbrook Voices is May 10th. Got something you'd like published? Send it to Voices.springbrook@gmail.com

Springbrook Mens Shed welcomes local blokes of all ages to it regular Tuesday, Thursday and Saturday morning openings. Just pop in and say hi. Cuppa about 10.30am.

Are you hearing the helicopters over our waterfalls recently? There is concern that these flights don't have permits to fly over our World Heritage Area and could be breaking the law, disturbing our forest and destroying our local peace and serenity.  If you hear them, please log their time and duration on the SMCAs daily post so we can log them.

Thinking about Mothers Day? Want to buy local? We have lots of gift ideas right here on the mountain. Check out our cafes and road side stalls for lots of local products such as Youngs Rasberry Vinegar, Greenwood Farms Chutneys and Jams, Springbrook Honey, local macadamia nuts, locally grown kiwi fruit jam, teas, herbal teas, hand made candles, clothes, books, accessories, local art, plants, cards, kids toys, jewellery, fourty flavors of fudge, gemstones (The Gem Shop is an Aladdin's cave of shiny things). You could also ask for coffee n cake vouchers and accommodation vouchers from our local businesses.  Bet they would be happy to oblige.

💚 living in Springbrook
