Hows your thermostat this Thursday?

Hows your thermostat this Thursday? BOM says its 1°but feels like -1.6° Do you agree? Dont forget to check on your pets and make sure they are warm enough on our freezing nights at the moment!

Great SMCA meeting last night! Lots of warmly wrapped people there having a laugh and a chat. Interesting bits of news & info...
*Shortly there will be no banking except for the Post Office in Mudgeeraba.
*Anti Hoon petition online via Roz Bates webpage.
*Check your rural number is visible and readable from the road before you need the emergency services.
*We need to be tidy at the tip so we dont put pressure on council to need to clean it and maybe decide to change to bin pick up...
*Feel free to report the white car at the split to Council or Main Roads. A great cautionary tale reminding people to slow down but not the best Welcome to Springbrook entrance we could have...

Back to Thursday!

Yoga at 9am today down at Helens studio, 1947 Springbrook road. Classes $15.

Mens Shed open at 10am. The Garden Plumbing Project is on the agenda this morning according to my sources but I bet that really means tea and biscuits!

Andreas, our newest muralist on the mountain will be at the "Welcome Tank" on Springbrook Road situated just below the Pine Creek Road turn off at 11am fixing up the mural. He's bringing wagon wheels for morning tea. If you want to join in bring a thermos, cup and a plate to share for morning tea and become part of the mural painting tradition of Springbrook!

Perasai Diri Silat is on tonight at the hall. Not sure about fees? Not sure about hours? Just not sure? Pop in and chat to Simon at 6pm at the hall and he will tell you everything about his martial art.

P&C meeting on next Tuesday at 3.15pm

Christmas in July in August with the Springbrook Gastronomic Society Aug 3

Music in the Round July 27th.

Thats all for Thursday folks!  See you there!

Stay warm, slow down and report the white car!

💚Springbrook
