The Kings Birthday public holiday tomorrow celebrates Ray C's big birthday that ends in an 0! Happy Birthday Ray!

Veteran Games for ex- millitary personal are on from Saturday 30 September to Monday 2 October at Raw Challenge in Numinbah Valley

Fire ants are on the GC, so we need everyone’s help to get rid of them. They may be small, but fire ants could destroy our outdoor lifestyle and make our backyards, playgrounds and parks unusable. Grab your free fire ant treatment kits to treat your property and protect your family, even if you haven't spotted any fire ants there. Visit fireants.org.au/selftreat to order your free kit.

Looking for information on any smoke thats in the air? Go to the LMDC Springbrook Facebook page and follow them for updates on our fire status.

Emma is looking at times for a  fitness class or boot camp-y type thing. Looking at either a Thurs or Fri moring at 7.30am? Let her know if that works for you!

YOGA: Monday 6pm and Wednesday 5.45pm classes are back on! See you there!

A Social Painting Group now meets TUESDAY nights, 6.30pm to 8.30pm at the hall. Byo Painting equipment,  a plate to share and a gold coin for hall hire. Enquires to Dominique or just turn up!

Wing Chung Kung Fu classes have started!  4.30pm kids classes. 5.30pm for adults, both at the hall. Contact Gill on 0412 306 029 for more info!

Spring is a good time to take up Tennis! The Springbrook Tennis Club meets on Sundays at 9 a.m. at the courts behind the hall. Just turn up!

The Homework Club will start up again at the school this term. Make sure you fill in the forms and return them if you want to join in all the fun after school!

Check out and join the new Facebook page called "I saw it at the Emporium" to let people know what goodies are on offer at our beloved Emporium when you visit!

Damos art classes are on Saturday afternoons at Lyrebird Ridge Road.  If you're interested  give him a call on 0456 529 161 or see him around the cafes!

Fire wood is available from the Echo Valley Farm Stall on Lyrebird Ridge Road along with jams, produces, sauces and kindling!

Mountain Hardware and Hire now open in Forestry Rd next to the shop. Drop in and see what's on offer and make suggestions about what you'd like to see there!

The Springbrook Darts Club meets on Wednesday nights at the Springbrook Cafe and Bar on Forestry Rd from 6pm. All welcome.



Garden Club meet 2pm to 4pm on the first Saturday of the month.  Next meeting is October 7th at Noks place. Details on the Springbrook Community Food Growers feacebook page.

Lots of road works around on the way to Nerang still... Prepare for a 10 minute stop each time you fonnd one when come and go from the mountain...

Looking for some reading material? Our Springbrook Community Library is open every TUESDAY afternoon 3.30pm to 4.30pm in term time during Skate Park Day. Drop off your donations, pick up a new book and catch up over a free coffee!

Dance Classes for children are on at the Hall on Wednesdays during the school term after school. 4pm $15 just turn up!

Springbrook Weedbusters learn more about the environment and pull weeds on the third Sunday of the month. 9am to 11am at the Settlement Day use area. Just turn up!

The Springbrook Mountain Markets are on the last Sunday of the month, 10am to 2pm at the Fudge Shop! Food truck, coffee, music, stalls. Great day out without leaving the mountain!

Looking for sustainable shopping here on the mountain? Then check out the sustainable fashion hut at Sophie's stall, opposite Carricks Road! All sorts of clothes and accessories as well as lots of second life goodies that make perfect gifts for family, friends or yourself. Do yourself a favour and check it out asap!
