Are you keen on getting a pedestrian bridge over Purlingbrook? Then look out for the pedestrian counting cameras near Llyods Rd and the Purling Brook Causeway and help get the numbers up! Looks like council are checking that we use it before they commit to building a footbridge.


Are you current or ex militarily? Then get hold of Johnny C and help out with Anzac Day this year. It's time for the new generation to step up and get involved!


Anzac Day Information about road closures and service times have been posted on the SMCA socials. Please check them out more all the details!


Want to visit the front road on May 2nd and see the progress being made? Express your interest with an email to secretary@smca.org.au who will pass on your details to the contractor who will confirm direct with you!


Kung Fu classes starting Thursdays in mid May at the hall. Kids and Adult classes available. More info to come. Watch this space!


Welcome to our acting Princpal Mrs Price and also to Mr Dunlop who is teaching the seniors for three week at the beginning of term as Miss Hoskins takes on a role at St Bernard's at Mt Tamborine!

The students at Springbrook school are looking for sponsors for the jump rope for heart fundraiser. Support your neighbourhood kids to get healthy and raise money!


The Homework Centre starts up again at the school next week. Forms were sent home on Friday. Make dure you fill them in and return them if you want to join in all the fun after school!


Springbrook Mountain Markets are on next on Sunday April 30th, 10am to 2pm at the Fudge Shop. Contact Java if you're interested!


Kids! Don't forget your green heart speech competition is coming up. Lots of great topics!


P&C AGM is being held on Thursday at 8.15am on May 4th at the school. Love to see all parents attend!


Weedbusters meet the third Sunday of the month at the Settlement 9am to 11am to bust weeds and learn about the Springbrook environment!

Heard rumours that the Purling Brook Circuit is half open, ie go down and return on the same yeack. Please check the QPWS park alert website for more information and full reopening dates!

Erratic driving? Road rageers? Dangerous driving? If you are experiencing any of this, pull over, let them past and then head off and buy a dash cam. Staying safe is your first priority. Don't let them intimdate you into doing something dumb!

Summer is a good time to take up Tennis! The Springbrook Tennis Club meets on Sundays at 9 a.m. at the courts behind the hall. Just turn up!
