The Springbrook Community Notices

The Springbrook Markets have been moved to July 10th due to the rain this weekend. If you're interested in a stall, contact Java at the Fudge Shop!

The rain in the school holidays has been a bit rough on our cafes so if you have a chance, drop in and have lunch and show your support!

Dancing Waters Cafe will be closed from Tuesday to Saturday for a bit of school holiday family fun so visit them today or tomorrow if you want to catch up with them all!

The Springbrook Community Library will be open on Thursday from 1pm to 3pm. Great opportunity to grab a book or 10 - just in case we have a rainy day or two. It's free. No membership. No late returns. Just lots of books!

Greenwood Farm is back up and running after their Covid break. Check out Angi's website, visit the stall and see what she's been cooking up in the kitchen!

Got a road side vegetation issue? Come to our meeting on July 20th and chat to our council verge vegetation bloke and see what solutions we can find!

The first Blue Light Disco is coming to Springbrook! Saturday, July 23rd, 5.30pm at the hall! The dress up theme is Cops n Robbers and entry is $2. The P&C will be doing hotdogs n party food. See you all there!

The blow up birthday cake is celebrating a birthday a month for 5 months in a row for the family that lives there- just in case you wondered why it was there for so long!

Interested in creating some outdoor community space? Come to the next Garden Group meeting and let's continue that discussion!

The Emporium is looking good! Hopefully we will have clothing bins in a week or so's time to add to our collection of ways to recycle!

Interested in the bridgeless foot path that Council are putting in between Llyods Rd and Carricks Rd? Then don't miss the next SMCA meeting on July 20th. We will have a council rep here to chat and explain why and what we can do about it!

Seen any yellow gingers with seed heads forming? Break them off if you can't dig up the plant and help stop it spreading!

Only seven more days of the holidays to go. Hope our school staff are enjoying the break!

Stay safe. Get involved.

💚 living in Springbrook
