The Springbrook Community Notices

The first edition of THE HINTERLANDER should be hitting letterboxes on the mountain soon. All the cafes have copies if you want one sooner!

Emily McGuire concert is THIS FRIDAY! Get you tickets on line at www.emilymaguire.com Don't miss out!

Front Road looks set to be closed for a while. Start making plans to go the long way for the next few weeks.

Seen the big digger at the Pages Pinnacle corner? (ask Ruben, he's seen it!!) Looks like that's where our slip will be moved to!

Springbrook Chamber of Commerce has their AGM this Tuesday, 7.30pm at the hall. All business owners welcome.

Ladies Lunch, 12pm at the Springbrook Cafe and Bar. Buy your own lunch, snack or coffee and enjoy the company of Mountain Ladies!

There is a working bee at the hall and Emporium on Saturday morning, April 9th, 9am to 11am. Morning tea provided! Many hands might light work!

Lots of lunatics on the roads for the school holidays. A tourist on a phone on a blind corner almost wiped out a Cafe owner yesterday. Missed a tree by inches getting out of his way. Watch out on the roads...

Happy Birthdays this week to Bernie, Glenys Quinn and Jarvie! Hope you all have another fabulous journey around the sun this year!

Looking for a destination for a walk? Try the Purling Brook Book Nook on Kuralboo st or the Baleirei Book Nook at 2353 Springbrook Rd. Lots of cool books to get!

Parents, don't forget, Term One has the first three Mondays in a row off! Easter Monday, Anzac Day & Labour Day!

Next Garden Club meeting is after the holidays, Saturday April 23rd, 2pm to 4pm.

We are waiting on a response from Cr Tozer regarding the Hinterland to Coast walk he was spiking on the telly earlier in the week. As soon as we get a response, we'll let you know!

Please report your favourite pothole with photos to division9@goldcoast.qld.gov.au

Stay safe. Get involved.
