The Springbrook Community Notices

The SMCA meeting is this Wednesday night, 7.15pm at the hall. All residents welcome. We will have someone coming to talk about support programs available on the mountain and hopefully someone from council to talk about Eaglemont!


The CoGC Mobile Library will be at Numinbah School TOMORROW Feb 10th from 10.30am to 12.30pm, and every second Monday in 2025!

The Ladies Lunch is on the 2nd Friday of the month 12pm at a local cafe! All ladies welcome!

Weedbusters! 3rd Sunday of the month, at The Settlement. Wear gloves, a hat, covered in shoes and your own cuppa. Kids encouraged!

Tuck Shop is back at Springbrook School! Order on Flexischools before Wednesday and have your kids enjoy a hot toasted sandwich for lunch!

Springbrook Voices deadline is Feb 20th. Get your contribution in early. It's the 150th edition!

Summer is a good time to take up Tennis! The Springbrook Tennis Club meets on Sunday mornings at 9am at the courts behind the hall. Just turn up!

Summer storms and the odd cyclone with very heavy rainfall are still likely all the way through to the end of March. Be prepared!

Join the Facebook page called "I saw it at the Emporium" to let people know what goodies are on offer at our beloved Emporium when you visit!

Springbrook Shanghai's Darts Club meet at the hall on Tuesday nights at 7pm for some serious Darts games. If you're interested,  just turn up or chat to Guy 0447 652 361or Tim 0436 110 651 beforehand!

3rd Friday of the month, Anglican Church Service 9.30am at the Observatory. All welcome.

The next Community Cuppa is the 4th Friday of the month, Feb 28th, 10.30am at a local cafe. All welcome!

The Garden Club meet 2pm to 4pm on the first Saturday of the month. Next meeting on March 1st. Details on the Springbrook Community Food Growers facebook page.

Erratic driving? Road rageers? Dangerous driving? If you are experiencing any of this, pull over, let them past, and then head off and buy a dash cam. Staying safe is your first priority. Don't let them anger or intimdate you into doing something dumb!
